Hi! I’m Lauren: busy wife, mom to Blair, former middle school math teacher, and full time TpT seller. I left the classroom in 2019 to start a family, and I was so grateful that my TPT store income allowed me to replace my teaching salary.

I soon realized that so many other teachers have the same potential to earn money selling their resources, but most busy teachers don't have the time to piece together the information needed to get started or the extra money to purchase an expensive course.

Is Selling 101 a Good Fit For Me?

Selling on TpT 101 is a good fit for anyone who wants to start selling their products on TpT OR is in the early stages of selling on Teachers Pay Teachers. We cover the basics of setting up your store, creating quality products, how to make covers and previews, and basic SEO.

Is Buying a Course Necessary for Starting a TpT Store?

Absolutely not! While you'd be hard pressed to find the tools & templates that you get in Selling 101, the vast majority of the information can be found for free from various sources online. The purpose of this course is to save you time & energy. While there's a lot of great, free, information out there, it can be overwhelming to sift through it all and try to figure out what advice you should focus on when starting out.

But if you're looking for free content, I have a podcast & YouTube channel with tons of amazing content. Binge watch/listen away!

Will you teach me how to create resources?

If you're specifically wanting to learn how to create teaching resources (notes, activities, pixel art, etc.), this is not the course for you. We will focus on specific aspects of product creation, like adding professional touches, conducting market research to ensure your products are on par with the industry standard, and securing your documents, but I do not teach you how to create specific resources.

I recommend Shelly Rees' course, Becoming a Teacher Author, if you want to learn the ins & outs of product design.
